The Role

Zilor Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Professional to provide specialist solutions to enhance Defence capabilities. The ideal candidate is an ILS Manager with an understanding for supporting the maintenance and growth of ILS capability for acquisition projects and follow-on sustainment tasks.​

Key Responsibilties

  1. Work collaboratively with clients to identify business issues and their root causes, and/or, clarify strategic and operational challenges

  2. Provide leadership and management of a multi-disciplined Team.

  3. Review, analyse and report upon Logistics Support Analysis and ILS Product development activities

  4. Develop ILS plans and instructions.

  5. Review and moderate ILS artefacts, Life Cycle Cost Plan, and reports.

  6. Review and provide advice on contractual statement of work artefacts.

  7. Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation

  8. Develop effective deployment solutions to drive and achieve desired client outcomes

  9. As required, provide input to life cycle cost analysis for system acquisition and sustainment scope

Skills and Experience Required

  1. A minimum of an NV1 Clearance, NV2/ TSPV is preferred

  2. Coordinate and perform a variety of tasks related to materiel logistics inventory, asset management, repair management and Disposal. 

  3. Advanced ILS planning and management experience

  4. Assist with the implementation of policy, processes and procedures that support materiel logistics inventory and asset management in accordance with Defence requirements. 

  5. Produce responses to correspondence, briefs and reports for higher delegate consideration. 

  6. Identify current Defence materiel logistics policies as they apply to materiel logistics inventory and asset management activities. 

  7. Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in team work and group activities. â€‹
